Department history

The department was established in the year 1997 with an initial intake of 30 students. The department has qualified and experienced faculty and technically competent supporting staff on its rolls.

 Infrastructure

The department has a total area of 810 Sq. Meters. The department has setup the state of the art laboratories with computing facilities and peripheral devices. Classrooms are equipped with LCD and OHP.

Department has experienced faculty members who can provide consultancy in the following areas: Programming languages and Paradigms,  Data Mining, Image Processing, Cryptography, Software performance, Engineering, Wireless LAN, Compiler Design

The Information Science and Engineering curriculum focuses on developing the computer Science & Engg. Graduates on par with the technology growth. This course develops the knowledge and skills in the area of Data structures, Object oriented programming languages, Relational Database Management Systems, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, etc., . This branch of engineering produces engineers who can serve in the industries like software development, Automobile Industries, Bio - Medical Companies, Electrical & Electronics Companies , Pharmaceutical Companies and Research / Teaching
