A very Good Evening to all the 

Respected Dignitaries on the Dias, Off the dias,

MC members and Life Members of of Veerasaiva Vidya vardhaka  Sangha,

Invitees, Collegues, Parents and My dear students,

On this pleasant and Colorful evening of PARIKRAMA-2013, it is my privilege to introduce dignitaries on the dias.

I am happy to introduce to you, Sri Allum Gurubasavaraj, Hon’ble President, VV Sangha, Bellary; Sir, comes from Allum family which gave a historical contribution to the growth of our VV Sangha.  He is the 4^th son of Sri Allum Karibasappa and Smt Allum Sumangalamma, a pioneer duo of our VV sangha. He is a leading industrialist and mine owner. Sir is an illustrious educationist and  known for his empathetic concern towards society. He served VV Sangha in various capacities for over two decades. He also served as the Governor of Lions Club, Secretary of Bellary Club, Senate member of Gulbarga University…. Interestingly, he is also a good player of Tennis and shuttle badminton.

I am glad to introduce the Chief Guest of this function Sri P.Rajashekhar.

Sri P.Rajashekhar is the Senior Vice President of JSW Steel Ltd.  He hails from Sandur, a son of this soil, with his dedication and commitment raised to the top administrative ranks of the largest integrated private steel manufacturer in India, JSW.

He did his graduation in Mechanical Engg from Karnataka University, in 1982; I am happy to note that he started his career as a faculty in VV Sangha’s RYMEC, formerly Vijayanagar Engg College, Bellary. He served in Bokaro Steel Ltd and  Vizag Steel Plant, Vishakhapattanam. He was conferred ‘Best Executive Award’ in both these industries. He has a versatile experience of over 30 years in the areas of maintenance, projects and operations of Steel and power plants. He holds an international patent for modification work carried out at JSW. Being a  senior vice president, he is in charge of iron making, agglomeration, RMHS & coke making at JSW. We fondly remember you Sir; You visited our College for the inauguration of ISTE Chapter on 19th Apr 2007.

MSPL Ltd of Baldota Group has a reputation for adding value to the nature, adding value to the society and also adding value to the noble cause of education. MSPL has been recognizing and encouraging the outstanding academic performers of our College by giving Gold Medals every year. Its my honour to introduce distinguished executive of MSPL as  Guest of honour of this function, Sri Asis Mishra, General Manager(Materials). He is a graduate Mechanical Engineeer from Utkal University Orissa and Certified Purchase manager with over 22 Years of experience in various industries. He worked for companies like Voltas, Samtel, Jindal, EMCO.

He is a Visiting faculty to various Management institutes on negotiation skills, team building and leadership skills. He currently takes care of materials activities of Mines and wind power division of MSPL. He alsdo handles aviation, corporate purchase & Insurance of the Baldota Group.

With us today, We have a distinguished guest Sri KM Maheshwara Swamy, Vice President of VV Sangha; He is an advocate and Editor/publisher by profession; He is a champion fighter who stood in the fore front of many andolanas for social and cultural issues.

I am happy to introduce Sri HM Gurusiddha Swamy, Honarary Secretary of VV Sangha. He is a leading advocate of Bellary. He  served VV Sangha in various capacities for the last three decades. He is the President of Bharat Seva Dal and he also played a key role in Pro-Kannada movements.

 As the Secretary of the Sangha, Sri HM Gurusiddha Swamy along with the office bearers have taken special interest in taking VV Sangha to a new glory, more so in the development of our PDIT.

Now, I call upon Prof.Chandrashekar, Head of the IT Dept to garland Sri Gurusiddha Swamy Sir.

 I am very happy to introduce Sri JS Nepakshappa, Asst Secretary of VV Sangha. He hails from a progressive and leading agriculturist family of Bellary. Sir, palyed an active role in Kannada Pragatipara horata and has served VV Sangha institutions in various capacities for three decades.

Now, I call upon Dr.Nagabhushan NM, Head of the Physics Dept to garland Sri Nepakshappa Sir.

I take previlige to introduce Sri Sangankal Himanthraj, Treasurer of VV Sangha. Sir, palyed an active role in Kannada para horata and has served VV Sangha institutions in various capacities for three decades.

A very hearty welcome to you, Sir.

Now, I call upon Sri Anand goud, Superintendent of Exams Section to garland Sri Himanthraj Sir.

I take this opportunity to introduce Sri Aravi Basavana Goud. The Hon’ble Chairman of the Governing Body our College. He comes from Kampli.  A towering personality, simple, down to earth person with exceptional leadership qualities. He is a progressive farmer, social worker fighting for the social causes. He played an instrumental role in Kampli Taluk Horata samithi. He served VV Sangha as Vice President, MC Member and Chairman of various Colleges. He has participated in Coferences at Philippines, Katmandu, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany and Indonesia.

He is a source of energy and inspiration for all PDITians.

PDIT is fortunate to have two eminent technocrats as its Governing Body Members. Rare to see an Engineering College governed by engineers. But Ours is.

We have with us Sri Jali Basavaraj, GB Member of our College. He comes from a reputed family of educationists in Hospet. Sir has served as an engineer in MNCs at higher ranks. After his Voluntary retirement, he is running industry and business.

We have with us Sri KB Srinivasa Reddy, GB Member of our College. He did his B.E. from NIE. Mysore, ME from BEC, Bagalkot. He served as faculty member in VV Sangha’s Engg Colleges RYMEC and PDIT for 14 years.

 Now, he is a  leading industrialist, businessman and a philanthropist. He is also a Syndicate Member of Hampi-Kannada University.

I am happy to introduce our beloved Principal Prof.Parvathi Kadli. She has 13 years of experience. She did her B.E. from SDM, Dharwada nd M.Tech. from SJCE, Mysore securing 2^nd Rank under VTU.

She is piloting our PDIT with a dexterous maneuver.

Now I would like to introduce Our annual Day Parikrama coordinator Prof. AM Shivaprakash Swamy. He is heading the dept of Mech Engg and he is serving in this institute since its inception in 1997. He did his B.E. in Mech Engg from VEC, Bellary and M.E. in Production Management and is pursuing PhD under VTU.

He actively takes lead in all the activities of PDIT.
