E&C Dept- Welcome
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was
started in 1997.The department offers undergraduate program in ECE. The
department started with the intake of 60. To meet the growing need of
Electronics and Communication engineers in the area around, its intake was hiked
to 120 in the year 2010.
The department has five laboratories and with a good departmental
library. These laboratories are very well equipped and cater to the needs of UG
students. The department & college academic calendar is highlighted by
regular seminars, student paper contests, Staff development programs, Industry
alliance, student personality development programs for all round development of
students. Games & Cultural events form essential part of student life here
and many have participated in National & International events. The ECE dept
has a very good number of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members.
Students Assessment and Evaluation, Co-and Extra-curricular
activities as a part of Departmental Association, Guidance to Students,
Counseling, Continuing Education etc apart from Teaching. In accordance with
the Lesson Plans, syllabus of all subjects is covered by Faculty in time. Staff
and Students are members of Professional Societies and several programs are
arranged under professional society banner.
